Terms of Service

Welcome to PollTap. By creating an account or using the PollTap platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Account Eligibility and Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create a PollTap account. Accounts are registered using a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. Each person may maintain only one account. Duplicate or fake accounts are prohibited and may result in suspension and forfeiture of rewards.

2. Email Verification

Email verification is required before accessing dashboard features, surveys, or reward withdrawals. You must verify your email address within 30 days of registration. Unverified accounts may be deactivated. Verification codes are sent via Resend, our email service provider.

3. Profile Information

You agree to provide accurate and truthful demographic information during the onboarding process. Profile information is used to match you with appropriate surveys. Providing false or misleading information may result in reduced survey matching accuracy, reward suspension, or account termination.

4. Survey Participation

When participating in surveys through PollTap, you agree to:

• Answer questions honestly and thoughtfully
• Complete surveys in a reasonable timeframe
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to complete surveys
• Not use VPNs, proxies, or similar tools to bypass geographic restrictions
• Not submit fraudulent or low-quality responses
• Accept that survey providers may disqualify you based on their criteria

Disqualifications are determined by provider partners and are not controlled by PollTap. However, we use profile matching to minimize disqualification rates.

5. Rewards and Payouts

Reward Lifecycle

Rewards follow a transparent lifecycle. When a survey is completed and verified, a reward is created in PENDING status. After a release window of 3–7 days, pending rewards transition to APPROVED status and become withdrawable. Some rewards may be placed UNDER_REVIEW if flagged by our fraud detection systems. Rewards confirmed as fraudulent may be REVERSED or REJECTED.

Release Window

The release window protects platform payout reserves and accounts for provider verification timelines. During this period, rewards are visible in your pending balance but cannot be withdrawn. The standard release window is 3–7 days from completion verification.

Minimum Withdrawal

A minimum balance of $5.00 in approved rewards is required to initiate a withdrawal. This threshold helps maintain efficient payout processing.

Withdrawal Processing

Withdrawals are processed through Tremendous, our payout infrastructure partner. Payout options vary by region and may include gift cards and other reward types. Withdrawal requests are processed within 1–3 business days. PollTap is not responsible for delays caused by payout partners or regional payment networks.

6. Fraud Prevention

PollTap operates fraud detection systems to protect platform integrity and payout reserves. These systems may analyze:

• IP address and proxy/VPN detection
• Device fingerprinting and browser signals
• Survey completion speed and patterns
• Duplicate account detection
• Geographic and demographic consistency
• Payout and withdrawal patterns

Accounts flagged for suspicious activity may have rewards placed under review, withdrawals temporarily paused, or account access restricted. Fraud determinations are made at PollTap's discretion and are final. Provider reversals of survey completions may also result in reward reversals.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Creating multiple accounts
• Using VPNs, proxies, or IP masking tools
• Automating survey completion with bots or scripts
• Providing false demographic or profile information
• Attempting to manipulate reward systems
• Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive behavior
• Sharing accounts or allowing others to use your account
• Attempting to access other user accounts or platform systems

8. Account Suspension and Termination

PollTap reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. Upon termination for violation, pending and approved rewards may be forfeited. If your account is terminated in error, you may contact support. Inactive accounts may be deactivated after 12 months of inactivity with prior notice.

9. Platform Integrity and Limitations

PollTap strives to maintain high platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Survey availability, reward values, and provider partnerships may change over time. PollTap is not liable for losses resulting from provider partner issues, technical interruptions, or force majeure events.

10. Privacy

Your use of PollTap is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the platform, you acknowledge the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of PollTap after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with changes, you may close your account.
